TS-048 / Lucero That Much Further West

CD
LP

OOP

Like their first two records, Lucero’s third album was built around the songwriting style of simple, heartfelt songs. The album expanded on the band’s sound, giving their newer songs more range and dynamics than had been seen on previous releases, while preserving the trademark Lucero grit their fans had come to love. Produced and mostly engineered by the band itself at their practice space in Memphis, Tennessee, a raw and urgent quality persists througout the album.

Anecdotes

We could give you countless Lucero if only we could remember them…no band has ever drank harder, trust us. However, one that is only a little hazy involves ditching an interview with Rolling Stone magazine to attend a Bruce Springsteen concert at Shea Stadium, tickets scalped from Craigslist only moments prior to door time. Ben, you still owe us one.
