TS-044 / Sick Lipstick Sting Sting Sting

The Sick Lipstick formed in early 2001, shortly after the demise of Lindsey and Mark’s previous band, Black Cat #13. In its short existence, the band toured the US with musical cohorts XBXRX, released a split 7″ on the avant-garde Deleted Art label, released an EP on California punk label Sound Virus, and recorded their only full length for Tiger Style. The album is a manic combination of dance-y drumming, quirky keyboard lines, stabs of atonal guitar and vocals that sound like they are being sung by a bad, bad catholic schoolgirl.
