TS-032 / Wauvenfold 3Fold

Wauvenfold were comprised of Noel Murphy and Tom Hill. In their short existence, they shared stages with Four Tet, Her Space Holiday, Hood, S.I. Futures, and Manitoba, often pushing the idea of an electronic band performing live to the boundaries, usually with extreme volume. 3Fold was a collection of three EPs previously released by Wichita Recordings in the UK in 2001 and 2002. This collection contains numerous previously unreleased tracks such as the Clip (Clopt) track recorded for their Peel Session.

Anecdotes

If you can believe it we never even spoke to these guys. We heard their music from Mark Bowen of Wichita who we got to know well from Wichita’s involvement with her space holiday. We were really into Morr Music’s roster at that time so we were craving that “bip hop” sound and Wauvenfold delivered it spot on.
