The AmAnSet continue sonically where The Golden Band left off, moving toward shorter, poppier tracks as opposed to the band’s early days of cosmic jams and loops. Unlike The Golden Band, Know By Heart contains spurts of musical experimentation in tracks like the Neu!-esque Like Foxes Through Fences and even some classic rock influences a la Fleetwood Mac in tracks like Kindness of Strangers.
